Just make sure you don't get a large plumbing bill when they get lodged in the toilet when they absorb too much water ;)

  • :j NSD today! Yay! I like Sundays, especially when I go to my parents' house for lunch ;)

Yesterday I spent £10.50. £10 at Mr Ts and 50p at Paperchase. They had massive reductions on the last few Christmas decs and so I picked up a pack of four big silver snowflakes with bells inside for 50p. Think they had been about £5 originally.

Thanks for posting your meal plans Charliesangel, they are really useful as I am feeling so uninspired about planning meals. I also wanted to add that it isn't a great idea to feed your kittens too much tuna as tuna contains a high level of mercury. Occasionally is ok, but its not recommended for all the time. Sorry if you already know this and I'm coming across as being an idiot, I couldn't tell from your post how much you are feeding your kittens.

I'm really impressed at your budget. I'm a long way off that!

  • Just thought I'd share - I ran out of washing up liquid about 4 days ago.

I've been using Stardrops since - I had a bottle anyway - and it says you can use it to wash the dishes - so I have been!

Everything comes out very sparkly and clean, I might swap permanently.

Ooh i got my first stardrops recently, havent tried it for the dishes yet - it magically removed all the limescale from my showerscreen though - i usually scrub it lots but had never got rid ofit completely before.

Sorry if a bored you all with my super-long posts yesterday - i hadn't gone into detail in previous posts so I needed to say it all to explain how my £2008 target adds up (hm wonder what justrme111 would make of you CA!!!:D)

I had fun today, i was out bargain hunting in SHOPS. I always feel that bargain hunting is much more of an achievement in actual shops...

    I got-

stamps (remembered to get them in superdrug, to get the 5% off):T

topped up my phone (at boots - i remembered you earn points on phone top ups there):T

Used the free voucher in the boots magazine to get the free £10 powder - bought a lovely fake tan set (going to be a present) which was reduced to £3 to get it....
....and then got a £5 voucher cos id spent over £10, so i got an spf lipbalm thingy for 75p:T

Also got 2 hair products reduced to 25p each:T

and a denmans hairbrush, which i was planning on getting, with £2.25 off cos the box was smushed:T

and my lovely mummy bought me 70% off gloves, a reduced 75p wooden doll ornament, 10p reduced lollies & 50p reduced chocolates, and a bag, 2 scarves and slippers reduced to £1 each (from superdrug - their old summer range had everything for £1):T

and to top it all off, a found a bunnet in a bush and tuppence on the ground:T

smuggins will be proud....but i think billy might be in the huff with me....

better update my sig n diary now
