Me organised!!! I just play at it every so often.
I wanted to move to Scotland, probs cause I like the thought of remoteness, though not being able to drive would be a bit of a hurdle:o Well if I manage to achive this challenge maybe I can save some of my savings towards learning to drive with bulk lessons and some as extra debt payments.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0 -

Hi Janey, are you on the West coast side or the East coast side of the borders? I didn't realise you were as 'close' :rotfl: nor did I realise how cold it's supposed to be getting. Hmm... that'll teach me to never watch TV and miss John Craven on a Sunday morning!

Nyk we are sort of in the middle!
Check out the Metcheck website where they give forecasts a few days ahead. Of course, nothing is certain but the Met Office have given a small hint as well.
We are always watching the weather as we were caught out big time when we had the Big Blizzard and I swore I would never let it happen again. Already have strategically placed candles and matches around the house.0 -
I have just spotted a book on Self Sufficiency by Alan & Gill Bridgewater for £3.99 plus free P+P. Does anybody recommend this book? While we're not in the position to be completely self sufficient yet it is what we are aiming for.Credit Card Debt

Hi TTDB, I would save the £3.99 plus p&p and just google 'self sufficiency' for an endless supply of info. If you find a really handy book, you can always try the library for some frugal reading :jI reserve the right not to spend.
