WOW! Do you clear the balance in full each month? I've just completed my CC shuffle for the first quarter of 2008 - yes, my name is NYK and I'm a card tart. :rotfl: Can't help it, Frugaling is second nature to me now.I reserve the right not to spend.

Our closest summer fields store is a 32 mile round trip but I will pass an Aldi on the way to work on Monday.Looks like its Bicarb until then.
I will probably need petrol before Tuesday and the cats will need more food. I should get worming tablets for them as well. And we need more logs.
I have been drying pine cones in the airing cupboard and the bottom of the Rayburn so that I can light the fire with them.0 -

Cheaper than eBay? Umm... eBid is like my second home - basic listings are FREE!OK, I agree that it doesn't have the passing trade of eBay nor the vast turnover in sales but... I worked out my previous eBay sales conversions at around 49% and grudged paying the fees for the other 51% that didn't sell. From a sales point of view, I was failing to meet my targets. So, I now prefer to pay nothing and make every penny MY profit.

Apologies if you have all read this already but can I draw your attention to a new announcement regarding the rules & regulations on the MSE boards. It's regarding signatures. Here's the link:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/announcement.html?f=139
This updated rule takes effect from 1st February. I've edited mine to within the maximum allowance, I hope! I've got no links, no smileys, nothing - just a FRUGAL SIGNATURE :rotfl:I reserve the right not to spend.

I have just had an email from the seller in the US and she is going to refund the charges I had to pay. I feel a bit embarassed now. I have said I will take $15 instead of the $22 it should be.
After all, I could have got nothing.
Nyk thanks for the info about eBid. I'll have a look.0 -

 :hello: Hi Molly. Hi all.
I am having a problem gaining access to sites through the umm 'oily hand' site. Some of the sites i get redirected to no probs, but with others, it comes up, 'tradedoubler' or affiliate somethingorother in the (sorry is it called the browser panel?) Could this be something to do with my security settings? And if so could anyone help me to set this straight plz? Or should we not allow some sites access to our computer for fear of virus's, keyloggers, cookies etc..? Would be grateful of all your tips as I am not very 'puter literate.
I am in need of a helping oily hand for CC's with cashback offer to cover ANOTHER balance transfer i will need to make because I have made a major mistake on my balance transfer to Virgin:
The deal was 0% on BT's for 15 months plus 0% on purchases for 3 months and yep, you guessed it - yours truly forgot the 3 months were up and i have been obliviously paying interest on my purchases (including my friend's washing machine!) on a daily basis since 15th Jan. Called Virgin. The guy on the phone said '" yeah but it's only £8...it could be worse"...???!!! But I DON'T WANNA PAY ANY INTEREST - not one single penny!!!!!
It was either Nyk or Martin (or both!) who has been warning us not to make any purchases on the cards we transfer our balances to and today i found out why!The BalanceTransfer takes priority over the retail purchases, so the interest paying charges are basically stuck at the back of the queue and are not dealt with until the BT is cleared   I tried to negotiate and they won't budge, so will have to move again - so soon grrr! Thought that if I use one of the CC deals with cashback, that will at least partly offset the amount I will be charged for transferring the balance!! phew! This Frugalizing is a full-time job!
I look forward to hearing from you guys x x x
