I'm back, and noone else has posted, result! I was a good girl and had a rest, well as much as you can when your cats an half the neighbourhood's choose that exact moment to have a chase through the house! :D
I've just realised I can't have a NSD, and I'm GUTTED! :rotfl:I'm meeting OH for a drink and while we could just do the 'hot water for a teabag' thang, it'll be the first spend out of the month so I think we can stretch to it :D We're not spending much time together at the mo as he's up to his eyes in MEng so it'll be a treat. Off to make some money so I don't feel so bad :D

  • This is just a great place to be:smileyheaI feel that I am in such good company with fellow moneysavers. I can really identify with the nipping back and forward to the computer thing, only keep getting caught on by my DH who is cracking up at the minute as I am married to the computer! I told him if he wants me to sort out the finances this is essential to keep me going in the right direction. Only had 2 DD out today although it feels like a no spend day as I havent actually handed any money over. Was making a lovely lamb hotpot for tea and needed an egg of which I had none so I sent DS over to neighbours house and she lent me one:T . Hooray for good neighbours!

Funny debrag the thought did occur to me that I should get some chickens, we moved to the country in June and have the space for them but havent the first notion on how to do it, anyone ever kept chickens or hens for eggs?

I was told that MSE is not really necessary, so I started listing all the things that had happened as a result of this site...house we're living in, £125 MEAF reclaimed etc etc

Yes, but I don't need to go on it so often.....Argos baskets (half price AND BOGOF) if you pick up these things straight away

Yes, but I do not need to log onto it 3 minutes before we have to leave to pick up son from school!!!

So bails, I was there earlier, just barred from posting, lol! And I'm supposed to be reconciling bank accts etc now so I shall have to keep printing the odd stmt off so it looks like I'm working!

  • Hi everyone, hope you are all ok. 12th NSD out of 14 for me, although I get my hair cut on Thursday and will have to get some food shopping in soon. I have worked out my shopping list alread though so I hope to keep it within budget.

Keren29, I keep meaning to say this but always forget to do so. You are one of the most inspiring people on the MSE boards, I always like reading your posts; now where do you get your energy from?
