Morning folks- only me awake?

I've had my lie-in coffee watching the tide turn and the sky lighten. I think that there was heavy overnight rain but more is in the offing. 

Yesterday morning I treated myself to a lovely breakfast at a little place about 15 minutes away. On my way out the staff put out freshly made cinnamon buns, the smell of them enchanted me into buying one. 🤤 It was irresistible and delicious. 

The rest of my day was spent doing lots of inconsequential stuff. Which is what I'll be doing today too. I've pulled a pot of pea and mint soup out of the freezer for later, I'd forgotten about it so was delighted to find it. 

For now, I hope that everyone is doing well. Happy Sunday to all.

Morning everyone Cinnamon buns Gers I couldn’t have resisted either dull and damp here I am going to pop to the nearest town this morning to get a couple of Xmas presents or try to I haven’t many left to get but I’m struggling as the GK get older .I’ve taken a small beef joint out I will do that later with veg and Yorkshire puddings I gave the house a good clean yesterday so it will be just a rest day today and see who gets kicked out of strictly tonight I really enjoyed last night there is some good dancers .heard no more fireworks after 10 last night I hope it’s the last of them my poor little dog is terrified it’s awful to see . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Morning all still in my PJ's its another wet and cold day today luckily we have decorating to do DH sanded the walls in the dinning room and i cleared up it would have been easier to get them skimmed but hey ho DH knows best but has conceded that i was right. Today will be washing the walls down and getting ready for papering . I was going to go to the tip but i think i will try next Sunday as i will get soaked today. Dinner tonight Roast chicken and accompanying veg. Have a good day one and all stay safe warm  and dry x

Morning everyone
Had a very lazy day yesterday - spent a large part of it uploading photos from my phone and then sent an order for prints to Snapfish - I was really behind with them - some photos are from last Christmas!
Will be going down to mam and dads soon to sit with dad while mam goes to church. DD and little one are coming home so no doubt I'll have a little visitor later. Then I'm back to work tomorrow - I'd love to say I feel better but I don't really - still tired and achy - but I'll give it a go.
Three very loud firework displays here last night - little kitten disappeared upstairs and hid under a bed and then cuddled into me when there were some random ones later on. I stood at the window and watched the first ones, which were at a nearby caravan park - they must have cost a fortune!
Right I better get dressed. Hope everyone has good day today x

Morning folks and thanks GERS.  I have been up forever but I wanted to get pressing jobs out of the way before getting ensconced on lappie!  DW emptied, litter tray changed, dry washing off the airer and put away, veg prepped etc. Next job compile my order for next week's delivery which I was going to do yesterday but dozed off!  I could sleep on a clothes line through the day but sadly still not in bed!

We had a lovely sunrise earlier despite the poor forecast but it now sounds like the south west are going to get the worst of it today; I'm not going anywhere but it's always nice to have sunshine through the windows.

The inconsistency of marking on Strictly last night really annoyed me which spoilt my enjoyment of it a bit. Grr!

Hello all, today it's damp and murky with heavy showers forecast. We had very few fireworks going off last night and the large displays weren't on this year either, probably due to the cost and wet weather, so it was to be expected. I couldn't find a matching missing button yesterday, so I changed both to a pair of old ones. Oh I do love a rummage in the button box, takes me back to being a child and looking for a spare button with my Mum in hers. Many hours were whiled away trying to match them all up! Yesterday afternoon we watched a film, Enola Holmes 2, it was a light-hearted, but very enjoyable. 
Dad is coming over for the day and we're having roast chicken, roasties, veg and yorkies. Tea will be pate on toast, warm sausage rolls and followed by apple pie.
Gers I hate cinnamon, the tase and smell, so would have passed on those buns.
Have a good Sunday and healing vibes to the poorly ones.

Morning..I'm sporting a rather fetching hangover in bilious green this morning...Good night though but as I have found out, my capacity for alcohol has shrunk quite a bit, my own fault though, I had that 'one last drink' syndrome...And at some point last night I said to OH if he wanted a party for his birthday wed do one, so that has snowballed now and now I have to organise a party for his birthday, on my birthday...It'll be a joint one but now I'm panicking abut the state of the house already....Me and my big mouth....So today I'm recovering and doing not a lot. Breakfast first I think though...

Fireworks herewere off and pon all night. There were some still going at one in the morning which is a bit too much. Gers, sounds lovely, and the buns...Nan, love a button box. We kind fo inherited a button handbag from a neighbour up the road when we were small and she was what we thought was very old. The bag smelled must but the buttons were so much fun to play with. Look after yourselves today, especially if you aren't feeling too good...

Late one from me.
DH and I both been off colour suspect we may have caught colds on the flight home last week

Had wanted to do loads of batch cooking yesterday didn't happen but need to do some today 
We had mini roast with pork chop last night enjoyed

We had some firework noise last night hopefully stop now
