  • Yes, suddenly they are on the wish list!
I bought the small one earlier this year @ around £13/£14, now it is £18. I find the small one is perfect- just me, for ham in cola, Delia's red cabbage, chicken casserole etc. I only have a small freezer which is bursting at the seams so can not batch cook.
My small one has a power light- really handy. the free one doesn't!
Still what do I expect for free???? ;)
Not sure how I struggled up the road towing 2 dogs behind as it is really heavy.
Think of the exercise you got though.....lol

Thanks for that... BUT... and it's a big one!!  I hate anything that's basically got boiled milk.(Joins rice pudding, porridge)
Not keen on pasta either, unless it's lasagne
Try to avoid cheese- love it- but cow's milk variety seems to aggravate arthritis.

    However ideas for a.n.other

Yes, I am resurrecting my own thread because I just found a whole load of recipes including soda bread & chocolate brownies!
The only drawback is that it doesn't mention the size of the pot

There should be 30 recipes to scroll through........
I am going to try the soda bread as I found a great GH one with walnuts  (baked in my Remoska but would like to try in sc)

and if you scroll down there are more recipes such as this 40 collection

  • I don’t use mine much, but it does a good rice pudding and I stand a covered basin of egg custard in it to cook at the same time.
