Anyone able to advise on dining in the Heathrow area

Significant Other has relatives stopping over at LHR T5 en route from States to SA for a Xmas break. They’ve suggested we meet up for ‘traditional Christmas dinner’ in the area. They’re not in a hotel, as they’ll be flying business class and would be making use of the facilities that go with it for the half-day they’re here. There’s nothing suitable at LHR so we’re probably down to finding one of the local LHR hotels with dining unless anyone else can offer any advice?
Should add we’ll be dependent on public transport so won’t be looking to travel too far.

Will they even leave air-side as part of the stopover?0

Their stop-over’s 12 hours so plenty of time for a family reunion meal.0

They have a 12-hour stop over, but can they leave the airport in that time, or have they got a through ticket?0

All sorted, thank you. They have a lay-over between flights from US to SA. They’ve been told they need to exit with their bags but can pop back later to use business class facilities, showers etc before catching onward flight0
