Kent Reliance further advance

My current mortgage is with Kent Reliance I have remortgaged and re-fixed my rate for 2 years. A side from this I requested a further advance with Kent reliance and this is being done as a separate secured loan. I received a mortgage illustration from Kent reliance on 18th October approving the additional borrowing, a soft credit check was done on the 14th October. I submitted the requested documents on the 19th October and paid for a valuation. Hard credit check done and on 26th October and valuation completed on 27th October….. I haven’t heard anything yet, would they decline me now? The silence is making me anxious 😬. My Mortgage broker said he would chase them next week as they have only finalised the remortgage.
