second home

i bought my second home had to pay stamp duty of 10.000 i want to claim this back im not selling my first home but gifting it to my daughter.
will i be able to claim stamp duty back or will i have to sell it and i want her to take over the current  mortgage of 90,000. 

whats the best way to do it ??

    A bit more info required.

    When did you buy your second home?
    Have you now moved into that home? 
    Is your daughter living in your first home?

    Your daughter can't just 'take over' your mortgage. Your mortgage must be discharged and she'll need to obtain a mortgage herself.
