Yes, friend had similar conversation with HSBC. Flat in Newbury, could they BTL it.. Yes if he moved closer to work in London. No if remained in Newbury.There are too many temporary landlords moving out into family, then moving back evicting tenants.
I assume by now you have contacted HSBC and know the answer.1 -
It's the landlord who has to comply with the many, many laws for letting a property. I have no experience being a landlord but neither does anyone else doing it for the first time which is why I will be engaging the services of a letting agent.
Is there a reason you asked about my suitability as a landlord?
