Hi everyone,

Seven lenders have agreed to pay out £12 million in compensation to some 60,000 struggling borrowers, financial regulator the FCA has announced today.

But the regulator is being tight-lipped about which lenders are involved, so we want to know...

• Have you unexpectedly had part or all of your loan balance written off?
• Have you had a compensation cheque out of the blue?

If so, let us know which lender it was below.

Hi there, I’ve posted about a similar situation I’ve recently experienced, here:

But as yet I’ve not received an explanation as to why the Halifax suddenly closed this and paid off the balance. So, no idea if this “good fortune” of mine is linked in any way , but if you need any more info just let me know.
