Are you up to anything fun and free this bonfire night? Local fireworks events? Homemade flask of something warming? At-home entertainments?
We'd love to know.

We have a perfect view from the garden of the local fireworks, so we will be sat in the garden toasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolateMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

I'm helping to run a candyfloss stall at a local fireworks display on Friday evening.
The display itself is a free community event - first time it's been able to go ahead since November 2019.
It's usually a very good display, but they've got a different company providing the fireworks this time so I hope they keep up the standard.
I'm wondering how to price the candyfloss. We charged £1.50 in 2019 - time to put it up to £2?Official MSE Forum Team member. Please report all problem posts to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com1 -
I'll be comforting my terrified cat as local idiots let off fireworks in the street.2

How was your cat on the night, @GingerTim? Sorry to hear about fireworks being let off on the streets. Our cat was pretty on edge most of the night - my partner stayed home to look after her and I'm sure she must be relieved it's all over.0

Sorry to hear your cat was a bit nervy about the whole thing. Mine spent the evening curled up against me, and he is now founding the Fireworks Abolition League!1
