Tesco clubcard offers

Recently there has been a TV advert for Tesco pack of two salmon fillets, stating the clubcard price of £3.50 instead of £4.15. However having purchased them in an Express Store I was charged £4.75 and no clubcard discount. I have since found out that the small print says offer only available with Clubcard App and does not apply to Express Stores. I understand Express Stores can charge more for some reason but I think an extra 60p is over the top and does not always honour the Clubcard offers.

Tesco Express have always had different prices and sometimes (in fact quite often) don’t have the same offers including club card offers. 

I never use our local express store as it’s hugely more expensive than if I shop online

I bought those self same salmon fillets from a Tesco Extra on Monday and got the discount with my clubcard- not the app.  I do know that prices in Express store can be very different- we don't have any round here.
Definitely not only with an App- don't have a smart phone.

Might be worth a call to customer services- how disappointed you are as a loyal customer etc.......

I feel more annoyed as our Store was a Tesco Metro, but then it was changed to an Express, in the same building and the prices have gone up considerably.

I no longer shop in my local High Street store - the local Sainsbury's and very close (few yards down the High Street) M&S are cheaper for lots of items, eg bananas @ 90p/kilo in Tesco Express but 78p/kilo in Sainsbury's and Lidl and, IIRC, M&S.
