How to calculate my WSS pension contributions
Comments
-
Yes the upper limit is £50270 or £967 per week. So you only get pension contributions on income between £120 and £967 per week. You might want to make additional contributions to a SIPP or old pension you hold to get 40% tax relief on all earnings over £50270 especially if you’ve got children and can get Child benefit.1

1 last question.
Are pension contributions "self correcting" like income tax, or determined per pay period like National Insurance?
