Advents... when do we post them?

Should we start posting the comps in the Advents section, even if they don't start until December or do we wait until the comps are live? I don't usually do Advents, so I'm not very clued-in to the protocol!

You could post them and if need be say Opens 25/11, 01/12 etc

Pretty sure we post as soon as we see them, so people can be prepared, well in previous years.

Titles start with an A not an E though and start date at the end if it hasn't started 😊 

This is just an example (obviously if it is a website calendar we don't need Facebook or Twitter listed etc.)
A: 24/12 Lily O'brien Chocolate (FB/TW) Opens 01/12

Then in the first post include the link to the advent page and prize details.
And the first days link and prize if you already know etc.

I hope that makes some sense and is of some help.

I think you can enter now and they reveal the winners from the 1st to the 12th.

I have another stupid question (sorry!)...

I don't think this one is technically an Advent, as it's just a letter reveal each day and then one prize entry at the end. So I assume I'd just list this under the normal comps section with a 25/12 end date? Or do I need to post it under Advents because there is something to be checked each day?

I would say the basic rule of thumb is if the competition says it's an advent it gets posted in the advent section of the board.

The Fairfax advent is open btw
