Recommendations for dehumidifier

Hi, keep seeing these mentioned and our flat has always had damp issues, even with ventilating. We have moved all furniture away from the walls, which has helped but in the last 2 months it has rarely dropped below 75% (though it is 57% today).
can anyone recommend something fairly nice and tidy looking (not bulky black and industrial looking) for our hallway (where we hang the washing).
any criteria I should be looking at, other than noise levels and how much water it holds?

Look for the extraction rate. The higher the better. Our current device is 20L per day.1

I have the following from Screwfix. I got it a two or three of years ago:I am very happy with my dehumidifier, but the following one, again from Screwfix, I think looks better:

Thanks @tooldle will look at extraction rate…. Is that how effective it is or how long it will run continuously?
@Mistral001 thanks. Yes the second one is much nicer looking, higher extraction rate and with a laundry drying function, good reviews about noise levels too… but a smaller water reservoir. That might not be such a big issue after a while, but initial plans are to run it overnight when e7 hours are (depending on noise levels)

Although it isn't the best looking we have a ebac 3650e dehumidifier. We've had it nearly 4 years and I honestly would hate to be without it. It is a brand that is specifically made for British climate as well.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy1

The extraction rate refers to how many litres the machine is able to remove in a day if running continuously and conditions are optimal (ambient temperature and relative humidity affect it).
The rates are a little misleading because most dehumidifiers have smaller water compartments than extraction rate so you would have to empty it to allow it to keep running. For instance I have a Meaco Arete One 12l, it can in theory remove 12l a day but it only has a 2.5l water tank.
If I was buying another I'd look for one with an oscillating fan. The dehumidifiers blow out the dehumidified air and if you arrange your drying clothes directly above the fan they dry quicker. The one I have now just blows in one direction so you have to move the clothes around to maximise drying.
Also, be aware compressor style dehumidifiers work best in ambient temps of between 15-21 degrees, if your hallway is colder than that then you would need a dessicant dehumidifier."a workman, even of the lowest and poorest order, if he is frugal and industrious, may enjoy a greater share of the necessaries and conveniences of life than it is possible for any savage to acquire."2 -
Thanks… these forums are always a treasure trove of informationworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?1

Also look for one which turns itself off when it is full. When I come to replace mine, which was an impulse buy from Aldi's centre aisle, I will look for one which cuts out when it gets down to a pre-set humidity %.
