Mortgage offer extention advice!!!

Options
I have sale agreed on a house and had my mortgage accepted. Its been three months now and still no key. The sellers solicitor is waiting on a grant of Probate. I might need to get my offer extended. In the current climate will my extention be at the original rate of my offer which I got before things went crazy?

    It will depend on the lender and how much of an extension you want.

    @fitzeykev Well, you might be in luck as Leeds have one of the best extension policies for non new-build offers, +6 months. Mind you I haven't done a Leeds non new-build offer extension in the recent past so hopefully they haven't changed the policy recently and also assuming that it's the same direct.

    My offer from the start was for six months. I have reason to believe that the estate of the person is small and there is only one person to stand to gain which should keep it straight forward when it comes to the grant of Probate.

    @fitzykev 6 months initial + 6 months extension is what I meant.
