  • You will have to pay it into an account.
No bank will cash it for you in any currency.
I don't know if any of the cheque cashing companies would be able to help you.

Depending on your bank you can pay it into your account. It takes far longer than a normal UK cheque. I paid in a $76 cheque into my Halifax account and after costs it was worth a whopping £28 (This was at around $1.46 to the £).

If the bankers draft in USD is drawn on a US bank then it can't be easily (or cheaply) negotiated in the UK. (Certainly not for USD cash.) If this bankers draft does not have an expiry date (i.e. "valid for six months from date of issue") then you can probably cash it next year in a Las Vegas casino, check casher or bank affiliated with the one on which it's drawn. You may need to wait three to seven days to get the funds cleared. The other option is to open a US bank account when you're in Nevada and deposit the draft. That way you won't get hammered on exchange rates. You can also deposit future gambling winnings into that account to fund future spending sprees in Vegas :-)
