Somebody brilliantly beardy, omniscient, and partial to a dram has returned like a boomerang made out of tinsel and tangible joy. Yes, #WhiskySanta returns with more than £500,000-worth of delicious whisky, gin, rum and more to give away!

Ho ho ho! Hello again, my friends! I’m back to bring you another sleigh-full of boozy goodies right up to the big day. That’s an awful lot of festive delight, but in your currency, I’m told it’s equivalent to over £500,000 worth of your favourite spirits!

Yep, the reindeer have perfected their barrel rolls, and I’ve officially hit play on my work boom box so I can once again listen to I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday by Wizzard, all day, every day right up until midday Christmas Eve when my shift at MoM Towers will end for another year. So about 16,472 times, in case you were wondering. It helps focus my supernatural gift-giving abilities, plus it’s an ice-cold jam. Now, on to the gifting!

‘How does this #WhiskySanta thing work?!’ you’re thinking. (Omniscience innit, a blessing and a curse.)

Well there a couple of ways, and it’s really very simple…

Once again, I have access to the Master of Malt checkout so I can give away tens of thousands of free gifts in lucky orders right up until Christmas Eve! #WhiskySanta 2022 T&Cs

THE PROMOTER: Master of Malt (MoM) is the promoter of the #WhiskySanta campaign (#WhiskySanta).  Just so you know, MoM is a trading name of Atom Supplies Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 03193057) and having its registered address at Unit 1 Ton Business Park, 2-8 Morley Road, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1RA, UK. 

THESE TERMS AND PRIVACY POLICY: By participating in any part of #WhiskySanta, you confirm that you have read, understand and agree that these terms and the MoM Privacy Policy are binding to you.  MoM reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend any aspects of #WhiskySanta where it becomes necessary to do so. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms or any attempt to circumvent or to frustrate them, MoM may, in our sole discretion, exclude any person from participating in #WhiskySanta.

WHAT IS #WHISKYSANTA: Only one of the best and most awards-winning festive campaigns there is! Running up to Christmas 2022, it’s that time of the year again and #WhiskySanta will be granting an overall of over £500,000 worth of gifts (subject to availability, this budget limit, and these terms). #WhiskySanta consists of: (i) Ask #WhiskySanta – Wishes; (ii) Ask #WhiskySanta – Super Wishes; and (iii) #WhiskySanta Checkout Giveaway.  What’s the difference, you ask?  Ask #WhiskySanta Wishes are wishes granted once a day for things available on the MoM website; Ask #WhiskySanta Super Wishes are granted once per week for superer wishes; and the #WhiskySanta Checkout Giveaway is an extra way for #WhiskySanta to spread the love and generosity with shoppers when checkout is completed.  

ELIGIBILITY: #WhiskySanta is only open to private individuals who are 18 years old or older (and of legal drinking age to purchase alcohol in their country of residence) and are residents of countries to which MoM is currently able to ship to (or in relation to orders placed for delivery to those countries to which we can ship).  More information on shipping here.  Ineligible entries (howsoever received) will be discarded. Employees of MoM, its parent company or any of its affiliated or associated companies and any of their immediate family are not eligible to participate in #WhiskySanta. #WHISKYSANTA PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: #WhiskySanta will run from 11:15:01 GMT on 1 November 2022 to 11:59:59 GMT on 24 December 2022 inclusive.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:   You can join in via any one or a combination of all the following routes.

ASK #WHISKYSANTA WISHES AND SUPER WISHES: To enter, entrants must make a wish for a product available on the MoM website or for products otherwise identified on the MoM Blog as suggested gifts for Ask #WhiskySanta.  Entrants can make a wish by posting their wish on selected social media platforms – Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram – using the hashtag #WhiskySanta.  For Instagram Story posts, you must make a wish by tagging @masterofmalt in your Story posts, hashtag #WhiskySanta is welcomed, but not essential here.  Wishes posted only on the MoM Blog (and not also posted on the relevant social media platforms) shall not be counted.  No purchase is necessary.  Multiple entries are permitted, encouraged even!

#WHISKYSANTA CHECKOUT GIVEAWAY: To enter, entrants must make and complete a valid purchase on www.masterofmalt.com within the #WhiskySanta promotional period in accordance with MoM’s normal Consumer Terms of Business. Orders placed using bank transfer as the chosen payment method, which results in a delay of payment completed outside of the #WhiskySanta promotional period, are not eligible to participate in the #WhiskySanta Checkout Giveaway.  Multiple entries are permitted, encouraged even! 

WINNERS: All winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries throughout the promotional period in accordance with these terms.

ASK #WHISKYSANTA WISHES:  At least one wish (and often more!) across all selected social media platforms will be granted each day from all eligible wishes made on the previous day (in the case of Instagram Story wishes, they will be selected from all eligible wishes made in the preceding 24 hours).   

ASK #WHISKYSANTA SUPER WISHES: The first super wish will be released on 7 November 2022 then granted on Friday 11 November 2022 chosen from all eligible entries submitted between 12:00 on Monday 7 November 2022 until 23:59 on Thursday 10 November 2022. One super wish will be granted each week following the same time pattern throughout the promotional period.

#WHISKYSANTA CHECKOUT GIVEAWAY: Winning orders will be selected at random intervals from all eligible orders successfully placed during the promotional period, subject to availability, the budget limit set out, and these terms.

THE GIFTS: All #WhiskySanta gifts are selected and supplied by MoM and are strictly non-transferable and not negotiable. No equivalent cash alternative shall be available and no items can be substituted or exchanged for any other items. MoM reserves the right to offer a substitute gift of equivalent or greater value in its absolute and sole discretion.

ASK #WHISKYSANTA WISHES AND SUPER WISHES: These gifts will normally be what were wished for.  

#WHISKYSANTA CHECKOUT GIVEAWAY: These gifts may be in the form of: (1) a free gift (most likely a 3cl dram or 5cl miniature of delicious spirit!) added to your order (NB: this gift is not available to orders solely consisting of electronic gift vouchers, or if the delivery destination is in the Channel Islands); or (2) a full refund (including any delivery charges) for your entire order; or (3) a MoM gift voucher up to the value of £50; or (4) a promotional discount code redeemable on future orders placed on MoM. 

CLAIMING YOUR GIFTS: 

ASK #WHISKYSANTA WISHES AND SUPER WISHES: We will use reasonable endeavours to announce the winners on the MoM Blog and/or relevant social media platforms the fact that such winnings are taking place. We will also make all reasonable efforts to contact each winner on the social media platform of which the wishes were made. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their gift within 5 days of the announcement date, we reserve the right to offer the gift to another eligible entrant.

#WHISKYSANTA CHECKOUT GIVEAWAY: With regards to the free gift, full refund, and gift voucher, winners will be notified on the order confirmation page if their order is a winning order and you must follow on-screen instructions to accept (or reject) the gift. If you fail to accept the gift, you will not receive an alternative gift or the equivalent cash value in respect of that winning order. Save in respect of winners who fail to accept their gift, the selection of winners will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. With regards to promotional discount codes, winners will be automatically assigned and sent a code digitally, no further actions are required from the winner to accept (or reject) this gift. ENTRY CONTENT: Let’s be sensible, people. Any post which depicts, describes, encourages, endorses or normalises the excessive consumption of alcohol, the consumption of alcohol by those under the age of 25, anti-social behaviour (including any criminal activity) or irresponsible drinking (including rapid drinking), which links the consumption of alcohol with popularity or other social success, bravado, technical skill, good fortune, the operation of vehicles or other machinery or therapeutic benefits, or which depicts the consumption of alcohol whilst potentially dangerous activities are being undertaken will be disqualified.

OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: As between each entrant and MoM, MoM shall own all rights (including, without limitation, intellectual property rights) in any image and/or text post which is entered into #WhiskySanta. Entrants waive all moral rights in the image, video or text to which they are or become entitled under Chapter IV of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (or any similar right or entitlement anywhere in the world).

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: We do not accept any responsibility for any wishes that are delayed, lost or otherwise not communicated, or which are which are incorrectly submitted using different hashtags, or did not tag the correct username/handle, or which are not publicly visible or are removed from social media for any reason before the end of #WhiskySanta, regardless of cause including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Insofar as is permitted by law, MoM, its agents, employees, and/or representatives shall in no circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate any gift recipients or entrants for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever and howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any direct, indirect or consequential losses arising out of or in connection with or as a result of entrants participating in #WhiskySanta or the gift recipients taking up any gifts or any failure or delays in taking up the gifts, except where it is caused by the negligence of MoM, its agents, employees, and/or authorised representatives. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.

DATA PROTECTION: MoM is committed to protecting your privacy, in particular in compliance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. MoM will only process your personal information as set out in MoM’s Privacy Policy (as amended from time to time). By participating in #WhiskySanta, the entrant is accepting and consenting to the terms of MoM’s Privacy Policy and to the way MoM processes their personal information.
