What's The Best Value Tablet?

What's the best value tablet that isn't ipad please? I'm liking to buy my first tablet. Mostly for browsing and perhaps watching movies sometimes and music. Browsing is what I do mostly and just tired of the small fonts and screens of phones but don't want a whole laptop as I still have one.
I use a Huawei phone and love it. Used IPhone and Samsung phone in the past.

What's your budget - which obviously isn't the same thing as 'best value' but it would help to know what sort of spend you have in mind.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0

Was hoping to spend about £150 but happy to hear reasons why another figure is better value.
My laptop and phone work OK but I want something that starts up quick like a phone but not as small as a phone as my eyes are hurting.
