  • Derby Spondon has loads too - I got the cashier to check the price for my mum and yep, going through at 2 for £2. No good for me though - too strong - I'm strictly a Mellow Birds gal! Great find though OP

John West tuna chunks on offer again if no-one knows - 4 tins for £2.98 or 8 tins for £3.00. Applies to Tuna in oil, water, petrol or whatever too!
  • Hi,
I don't want to put a spanner in the works, BUT I don't think this is the original Carte Noire. The jar labels are different in as much as they have a green band on them and a green logo which the original jars don't have. Having said that I have bought some to try and its distinctly weaker than the opened one I am using now. Anyone else tried it yet? Regards - sally

I found it by pure fluke! I was buy it for my hubby who's the coffee drinker in our house, I bought the 100g jars as they were reduced to £2 rather than £4.80 odd for the 200g, when i went through the checkout i noticed it had gone as a multi save. So off I trundled to buy some more.

the new Asda in Seaham had loads on the shelf last night - bagged a couple of jars - well would've been rude not to! :-)
  • I don't think it's a mis-price, in my local Asda this morning the sign was there clearly stating "2 for £2.00" - I bought 4 jars. Loads left in Coventry :)
