missed out one creditor from bankruptcy form..help!!

Hi,

Just wondered if you kind people ma y be able to help me.

I have just today handed in my bankruptcy forms to the court and will be going tommoro at 9.30am to see judge.

Just now i realised that i forgot to put one of my creditors down on the form. In total i have about 17 creditors and the one i forgot is to optimax ( i had laser eye surgery 6 months ago and have been paying monthly)

What do i do now? Shall i tell the court tommoro? or if that is going to complicate things shall i wait for the OR telephone interview?

Any help much appreciated at this very difficult time.

Regards

Just tell the OR when you talk to him. All debts whether mentioned on the form or not are included in BR, so if a couple of years down the line someone writes to you about a debt you forgot about you just tell them you were BR.

There are a few debts like student loand that are not included in BR.

many thanks for that...one other questions.

I am getting about 10 phone calls a day on my mobile from some of my creditors. I usually ignore them as do not know what to say. Can i tell them now that i have gone bankrupt so they hopefully will stop calling from 7am.

    Thanks once again.

    Hi pre-reg

Tigerfeet has answered your question but I have a question for you with regard to your signature; how does that philosophy apply to twins or multiple births?:D :D

Not trying to be flippant, just curious.;) :D

Just give them your BR no. , court and day you went BR and your OR's name and no. Also tell them to check the Insolvancy Register.

If they keep ringing you report them to the OFT, TS et al and tell them you are doing so.. Any letters you get send to the OR

    Hi pre-reg,

Once you've been declared bankrupt you'll have a case number and the address of the O.R's office handling your affairs. Give those details to any creditor who calls and advise them that you are no longer able to hold any further conversations with them. Emphasise, that if they persist they are actually breaking the law and you'll report them to the relevant authorities.

It does take a while to die down so a little patience is no bad thing.
