Already receiving state pension: can I still buy additional years

I already receive my state pension. I have worked out that I was eligible to pay for two extra years voluntary NI contributions, which would boost my pension. Can I still do this even though I am receiving my pension.

Then yes you can. Which years are available ? Buying pre 2016 years may not necessarily increase your pension.

Just checked, my last full NI contributions were in 17/18, and my state pension date was March 2019.0

You reached SPA in the 2018-19 tax year and your last paid up year was 2017-18. If there are no previous gaps then you cannot make anything up, there is nothing available to buy. Your NI record will tell you if a year is available to buy.Bud2812 said:Just checked, my last full NI contributions were in 17/18, and my state pension date was March 2019.
