Warm lined boots for old bloke?

I'm in my seventies and suffer from chronic chilblains if my feet get too cold of a winter.  What I need is a pair of comfortable warm lined boots that don't have a rigid sole, so that I can try to keep up my daily mile walk in almost all weathers.  Anybody know of such a thing at a price that won't cause me to fall over?  I'm sorted for warm thick socks, but I need something warmer than my trainers ...

Hi, firstly can I just say that you are NOT old. I'm in my seventies too and I know these things.

Secondly, I'm of the old school (yeh, but I'm not old myself, obviously!) who thinks that if you treat your feet properly then they'll treat you right so don't go down the cheapest route.

I've just had an email from Pavers shoes and they seem to have some really decent boots for men, reasonably priced. Especially the 'wide fit snow boots'.

But if you have a google - something like 'cheapest warm mens boots uk' - lots of links pop up. There's MandMdirect for starters. They seem to be having a clearance sale.

Then you could have a look at amazon, ebay etc., many places seem to be having sales.

You're not going to fall over, you're a young chappy, don't forget. Think positive. And treat your feet, don't make them suffer in cheap boots. Because you're worth more than that.   :)

Edit:  I've only just read your signature! And laughed at me telling you to think positive. Oh dear. . .  !
