Care in the chemist

A friend used the care in the chemist scheme today for medication for her 4 year old . The chemist gave her less than half a bottle saying this was now policy, I find this very strange anyone on here who can confirm if this is indeed policy,

Hu?
A new condition or chronic? How long is the amount given intended to last? Is this something the pharmacist is allowed to prescribe themselves or an emergency supply of a repeat prescription that they'd run out of?0 -
It was for liquid paracetamol for new condition ie, illness .0

They’ve stopped doing that round here as people are taking the mick and is really not expensive to buy. I suspect the half bottle was to see out the ailment only, any more to keep in for other reasons would need to be bought:eek::eek::eek: LBM 11/05/2010 - WE DID IT - DMP of £62000 paid off in 7 years:jDFD April20171
