Jakeman's Lozenges - Nice New Packaging

Unfortunately, they have also been drastically reduced in size and increased in price.
Previously they were 100 grams in size and contained 15 lozenges. They could be obtained for a general 59p although I never paid more than 50p for a packet, usually from Poundland.
The lovely new packaging has coincided with them being reduced in size to 73 grams, containing 11 lozenges. The price has also increased to a general one pound, even at Poundland although I did spot them for 79p at Home Bargains.
Needless to say, I won't be buying any more Jakeman's lozenges despite the attractive packaging.

Home Bargains have the old style packets sorry can’t remember the price.0

Savers now sell them in tubes ( not really tubes but that shape) as well as the packets. The ones in the tubes are a bit smaller so you actually get more for your money - they sell a double pack for £1. I suffer from a persistant cough and the black ones are the only thing which give some relief - but a smaller one is just as good as the larger.0
