Dear All
What documents do you get from lenders when you pay off all of mortgage ?
- I understand there is no mortgage free certificate. As certificate is held on the land registry. Am I right ?
- What document do you get to proof it in the later date that you are mortgage free.
- It is a terrace house, freehold. What document do you get, how to proof it that you already own the house 100% when you get challenged in the future.
Thank you very much for your time

The Land Registry record will show that you are the owner, with no mortgage lender also listed. I didn't receive anything, only a letter from the bank to confirm they were removing the charge
    Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed

Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!
