Few questions for early bankruptcy

Options
My bankruptcy got approved on Monday.
I didn’t have any spare cash to remove for day to day spending before I put the application in. I don’t get any money until the 8th November. I’ve been waiting for a refund from wizzair since July which has just been put in my bank. I will leave my 1st month direct debit amount in but I’m wondering if I can remove the other )240 from my bank to suirvive on until I’m paid?

also I have phone contracts I pay monthly, where some outstanding phone costs are included in my bill to pay off the handsets. Will this be added to my debt or can I just keep paying this as a monthly bill?

plus the other one I don’t understand is my monthly council tax bill? It says this will be added as a debt until the end of the year? I’m not in arrears oh just pay it monthly?

Also will this phone call I’m expecting be a full on interrogation? I’m so nervous 😞

Thank you in advance.

I would make certain I had access to cash a priority.

Unsure about your phone, I'm sure others will comment.

All council tax debts from previous years whether or not the council has issued a summons for them, as well as all your council tax liability for the current tax year is also included in your bankruptcy.

The OR`s phone call will be a fact-finding mission, they will not be looking to apportion any blame, they will simply want to know how you got to where you are now etc etc.

More of a box ticking exercise so I would not worry about it.

  • Did you ask an expert in your area about a personal conversation to clear such questions?
  • Sourcrates answered about your council tax and as they say it is just a fact finding exercise to run through your budget and debts.
You say phone contracts so that may be discussed if you are single with no kids, why have you got multiple contracts?
It might not even be queried if your costs for the phones is within the acceptable range for a household of your size. If you are paying for phones that you don't have anymore you can cancel the contracts and they will be included in the bankruptcy as they were taken out before the bankruptcy.
