If you have a Sainsbury's credit card and use it to earn Nectar points, you have just one week until the supermarket cuts the number of points you earn when shopping at the retailer.

I’ve just switched to the free Barclaycard Avios card from my Platinum plus card because of this. It’s actually one of the best free cash back cards in terms of Nectar points now. I‘ll be closing my Sainsbury’s card as it’ll then be superfluous to requirements. We shop at Sainsbury’s every week and put everything Sainsbury’s and their subsidiaries wise on their card for the extra 2 for every pound nectar points. Not now it’s changing to 1 for every 2 pounds. It’s just not worth it.
