Hi everyone,
Still struggling, I had another high temp and shivering and then huge sweat and temp lower. I can't remember having such virulent things before Covid, or maybe it's before Esben.
Steve is going over to give Crystal a hand - every time she puts Nate down he has reflux and chokes so she is getting very little sleep. Chris is suffering as well, especially as he has to drive 2 hours each way for his commute.
Anyway, Esben has gone to nursery so I shall have a very quiet day and hopefully get over this thing sooner rather than later.
Have a good day.11 -
Morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x
Didn't get on yesterday as spent the day in the office - frantic! Let's hope things settle down soon....
Sorry to hear about your friend @ScarletRibbons - how awful for you and of course her family, sending hugs xx
Waving to @Nelski - hope you're okay and please post when you can xx
Piccalilli is one of those foods that I can't bear @-taff - totally irrational as I've not tried it, just KNOW I won't like it. Same with peanut butter! Could this be the new 'pant' discussion on the thread....
Get well soon to the @snoozer household x
Get well soon to @TravellingAbuela's bff x
Welcome back @bellabella
Your boss is a piece of work @IzzyBee - I'd be killing her with kindness just to pee her off!
Sorry if I've missed any other news!
Dinner tonight is a SW chicken curry - new recipe, will see how that goes! Step count going okay - just shy of 10k the last couple of days, so need to get moving today to catch up. Still have some sorting to do in the house so will crack on with that over the next few days.
Have a good day all,

Morning all, we all enjoyed the day yesterday, the lamb roast was delicious and there's just enough lamb left to make lamb burgers for tea tonight. DD called in after school too and it was lovely to see her, but she still doesn't look well after her last bout of covid.
Today I'm having a quiet day after the kitchen gets a tidy, it looks like a bomb has gone off in there and I also need to find our black shoes and give them a polish. My jigsaw awaits my attention this afternoon, it's about 2/3's done now.
Scarlet welcome back but such sad news about your friend, I hope the prognosis is wrong.
Bella welcome back from Mexico.
taff, Gers and TA many thanks for the anniversary wishes, I can't believe another one's flown by.
Nels thinking of you and sending healing vibes.
Right a coffee then I'll get stuck into searching for our missing shoes.
Take care all, stay safe and well

RUBY thanks for your update on NELS. . If you are reading along NELS I hope your hands soon feel less painful.
COXY I'm like you with Piccalilli! Just the look of it tells me I won't like it! My BFF used to make mountains of the stuff back in the day, to help raise funds for the SA and it was always a sell out. But not by me as, like you, I KNOW I won't like it!! But I am rather partial to peanut butter, especially the crunchy variety!

I love piccalili ! Never made it though Taff. Scarlet, so sorry about your friend, what a shock.Been busy this morning and only just had my lunch, decided to make Scotch eggs, & had a couple warm. 2 left to go cold now. Put a sc pork casserole in for tea, after Mr T had delivered the diced pork, need something ready for tea early as we're off to the match. DGS will be missing as he's away , shame as he's wanted to go to a night match for a while but it's a bit late on a school night normally and he fell asleep at the last one he came to , DS had to carry him back to the carI went up in the loft yesterday and chucked some stuff, but found a big tub of train/car track & accesories that DGS had when he was small, got it all out and washed it with a view to putting on th'ebay, couldn't remember how it all fixed together, then when I was playing, a rubber thingy on a ramp that you wind to make it move snapped :(Some people sell bits as spares but there are none in stock! Now the clutter I hoped to clear is in full view in the kitchen until I decide what to do with it.Nelski, hope your hands improve & feel better soon, & you too Snoozer.Might go for a walk, it's a lovely autumnal afternoon. Take care all x
