I accept it wont work for everyone and morally I was torn, But at the end of the day i spent 2 years trying to negotiate with HMRC a repayment plan as they were my only creditor only to be told at the end of every conversation that they would rather make me Bankrupt and have a closed case than accept a 3 year repayment plan, while all the time adding absurd charges and fees monthly, I was fortunate that my employer accepted my request to half my hours for a year, For my mental well being it was the best decision i have ever made and dont have a single regret, dont rule it out on moral grounds do whats right for you2
