I have an old restriction on my property relating to a Monument credit card debt. Solicitors named in restriction said they no longer have any file and suggested I contact Barclays. No one I have spoken to at Barclays can help. All I want to do is pay whatever I owe so I can have restriction removed.

Monument credit card is no longer trading as you are aware.
You need to contact the Land Registry as there is a procedure to follow where a creditor has ceased trading.
