I don’t recall ever having a hard credit search when upgrading accounts only if opening a whole new current account.
pit would simply just change your account terms and conditions.
if you apply for overdraft as part of the upgrade they’ll hard credit search you.If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
