Hi,
With my oh about to default on his debts for the first time I’m wondering if there are any links between his creditors and his building society that we should be aware of, incase they try to take money out that they shouldn’t? If they can even do that..
He banks with Nationwide and owes money to Barclaycard, capital one, Amazon credit card, littlewoods and very.

Nationwide is a standalone building society, owned by its members.
None of his creditors have any affiliation to the Nationwide at all.
Barclaycard, financed by Barclays.
Capital one, again a standalone company.
Amazon credit card financed by New Day.
Littlewoods and very owned by Shop Direct Finance Company.
