Live in my partners house, whats my status?

I live with my long-term partner, we aren’t married, but basically are in all but name, she owns our property outright and i don’t pay her any rent. So confused on the question on loan applications re your residential status.. i’m not a tenant as i don’t pay rent and don’t want to put this obviously, as would need to put zero when asked about the rent, which would obviously prejudice the application, the algorithm would throw it out no doubt, but also don’t want to put rent in that i don’t pay, making my outgoings look larger than they are.. there is no option for my situation, any ideas!?

I always put tenant on my applications, I pay a nominal rent to my partner who owns the house. I don't know why you think putting zero rent in would prejudice the application?
Co-habiting is my status when given the choice
As a technicality, there is no such thing as married in all but name, you are either married / civil partnership or not.2 -
Cheers, yes i understand that final point
i once made an application for a loan where i put a silly number in by mistake, it was a complete typo and when i called to explain to the company (and to give them the right number) they said their algorithm instantly picks up on ‘weird’ numbers (my term) and rejects the loan, and i was told i had to reapply in 6 months! (I.e they wouldn’t accept it was a typo, which it so clearly was)…so i think if you called yourself a tenant and then said your rent was zero it might follow the same way….
nominal rent is clearly the sensible option though
just a theory mind

By nominal for me, it's £300 a month which goes into the house funds not something like £1
If you contribute on bills, maybe use that as the total? Plenty of people live rent free e.g. some people with parents so I wouldn't imagine £0 rent is going to flag anything if you're honest about other expenditure on bills etc0 -
Just be honest.
Anything else could be prejudicial, as you discovered when you accidentally inserted an incorrect answer in the past.
If there is a section asking about contributions to household expenditure, then you can put everything you contribute to,including things such as car expenses etc. But there isn't any mortgage and you don't pay rent. So that's moot.
Putting '£0' for rent or mortgage payments can't be that unusual - especially when people have paid off a mortgage and/or there is no rent to pay.
Your status has to be 'co-habiting' because that is what you're doing, you're not a tenant.
If there's no space to put that on a form then you could phone the appropriate organisation. (Although so many people co-habit these days I can't see that being a problem.)
Honesty is always the best policy. If they have any questions about answers on your application, they'll get back to you.
[P.S. I think I've seen this exact same question before though, was that you?]Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts.
