Hi all,
Please could anyone help clarifying the Global radio rules below:
To keep promotions fair for everyone, we want to make you aware that if your prize is valued over £1,000 or if you have won more than one prize during the previous six months, then we reserve the right to withdraw from you, at our absolute discretion, any further prize awarded to you for a period of six months
As I understand, once you win a prize you are banned from winning for 6 months, no matter of the value of the prize? If the prize won is under 1k then you still can't win because that would be classed as winning more than one prize in 6 months? Am I getting this right?
The prize I won last month comes up to £998
Thank you!

I've wondered this too! I won a prize valued around £250 a few months ago and I've just been entering as normal as I interpreted 'more than once" as twice. Will be interesting to see how others interpret this0

I would say more than once is at least twiceI do it just for fun and whatever I win is a bonus0

If we choose to exercise this right, we will notify you in writing (for example by email)
Global terms64. So that we can ensure the fairness of our Promotions, we reserve the right to prevent you, at our absolute discretion, from entering any of the Promotions for a period of six months (“Exclusion Period”) if you have either (A) won a prize valued at £1,000 or above, or (B) won more than one prize during the previous six months. If we choose to exercise this right, we will notify you in writing. If you continue to enter any Promotion during the Exclusion Period, we reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, to disregard your entry, remove prizes and impose a further exclusion period of twelve months from the date of your last entry attempt. Entry fees (if any) will not be refunded. We reserve the right to disqualify your mobile phone number from future Promotions during this Exclusion Period.0 -
Wireless, which includes talksport, Virgin and some local stations has the most restrictive conditions
Officers, employees and agents of the Promoter and any party associated or directly connected to or with the specific Competition (including sponsors) and their families, officers, employees and agents (as applicable) and anyone who has won a prize on any radio station or website operated by the Promoter within the last 12 months are not eligible to enter any Competition.
Win a small prize on a local station and you cannot enter anything from the group for a year0 -
It means:
1) On winning a prize over £1,000 - no 2nd prize for six months
2) On winning a 2nd prize (less than £1,000) less than six months since 1st prize (less than £1,000) - no third prize for six months3 -
