Are Barclays Mortgages Intermediaries only? Want to apply direct only...

Their 3% 5 Year Tracker with no ERC is what I am looking at...

Also, what is there offer validity, if I apply RMG end of this month, can I potentially complete 1st July 2023

@iamiam You can definitely apply direct with Barclays, like other high-street lenders.

Offer validity is 6 months from date of application with no established process to extend beyond that. At least this is what it is for intermediary apps, and I would think it would be the same for direct apps.

Just checked, all Barclays mortgages come with advice. So you cannot apply direct solo.

You can apply directly but you will be waiting weeks and weeks for an appointment with the advisor.. Rate will probably be gone by then.

Use a free broker? Much better than waiting ages for a painfully long appointment (or two) with a bank advisor. No difference in the rate you get.
