Undisclosed debt Santander Mortgage application

So application is with underwriters.  Have been told there is some undisclosed debt we haven't advised of on application. Myself and broker cannot work out what it is...nothing showing up on experian report. We have no loans. Because we went through broker they will bot speak to us and due to GPDR will not tell the broker either. Help.

Could it be student loan?  I know most don't take it into account but some do, especially if there is an affordability issue.

@hellywelly84 GDPR? That doesn't make any sense, the broker already has all your personal information and your permission to use it for this purpose.

Usually, if it's an undisclosed commitment they'll tell me what it is - either to look it up on the credit report or what line on the bank statement, etc.

Any cc debt showing on your current Experian report, any payslip deductions that haven't been put on the application, any outgoings on your bank statement that may be mistaken as a committed outgoing, etc.?

They are waiting for the underwriter to get back to them and to be more clear. The only thing we can think of is childcare but thats not on my experian report.

@themoomins no student loans or finance or anything. Just the usual phone bills etc

@hellywelly1984 If there are childcare outgoings on your bank statement and it hasn't been declared on the application, then that could be one explanation for the undisclosed commitment.
