When saving (2.75%) to overpay my mortgage (1.94%) should I continue just saving while the saving rate is higher or should I be paying my savings into the mortgage evey 6, 12 etc months?? And for max benefit I assume I should include any savings interest earned?

I have inherited 30,000 and my mortgage is fixed until June 2024. What is the best account to place the lump sum ahead of paying off some mortgage in ‘24? Ideas ??0

You need to pay off the maximum without penalty amount each year, holding the rest in as high an interest savings account.0
