Virtual medical care plan-your thoughts on this?

Hi folks,
I have had an Aig personal accident insurance policy for must be 30 years or so now, doesn't cost a fortune £4.21 a month. I was a bit surprised earlier in year when they sent me on details of a virtual medical care plan that they offered to me free, where I can have a consultation with a doctor over phone, I think I would have to pay for any medicines etc, but obviously then I would have a chat with my own GP.
What are your thoughts on these kind of plans?

If it's free to you, then it certainly could be useful.
There are many on here who ask medical advice from total strangers who they have no idea who they are. For times when anyone might be tempted to do that - then having a line to a proper qualified Dr would certainly be a better option!
How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.1
