What Small Things Will You Do This Week?? 17/10/22

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important 😀

Only just come across this thread, great idea. We've been on the DF journey for a while now, but lately I've realised it is the little things that help a lot, so I might join in ...when I have time & remember to post .
Today I have
- Got washing outside on the line
- Not had the car out of the garage....walked to the shops
- Done some surveys to make money
- We're having left overs for dinner, so not having to use oven
This afternoon the plan is to go through bank accounts/spreadsheets and tidy up accounts and move money to male a few extra payments.
- Do some more surveys if I can and cash out some rewards
-Try and sign up for a receipt scanning site
- Go through stuff to see if I have anything else to sell

This thread definitely helps keep me on track @Makingabobor2 - also because I'm a geek I am always trying to find things I can add to my list! Like squeezing out the very last end of the toothpaste or using the last squares of the toilet roll - apparently my OH is allergic to those last 3 squares!Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
