@Charlwftb oh dear… how long after your application was submitted did you hear about the valuation? We haven’t heard anything yet but I’m being really impatient because we have to leave the home we are in, in two weeks time

oh no!! I have my fingers crossed for you that it comes through super speedy. 

Our timeline is:
DIP 29/30
Full application 30/30
Valuation paid for 04/10
Valuation completed 17/10

We applied at the beginning of the month and it was super quick.  Submitted Tuesday lunchtime, surveyor round Thursday morning and offer issued by 9.30 Friday morning. 
We are re-mortgaging and borrowing extra to pay off Help to Buy, at 79%LTV and both PAYE/

to update we got out offer yesterday! so nearly 4 weeks in total.

@Charlwftb congratulations 🥳 I still haven’t heard a thing no hard search has been done either from what I can see.

@Dk1989 I would perhaps chase if you can? Our hard search was done on the same day as the full application. Which from looking around I think is normal for Halifax.... could be wrong...

@Charlwftb we spoke to our broker on Tuesday and he said it will probably be a few more days he said it’s currently taking a two and a half hour wait to speak to halifax.

@Charlwftb can I ask how you knew the hard search had been done the same day? I’ve still no update, spoke to broker today and he said he’s heard nothing he will try get an update by the end of the day. Does Experian ect not take weeks for any changes to show? Or does a hard search update on your credit file instantly as my other changes don’t show until it updates every month ect.
