Number of dependents on application

I have 2 children, shared custody with the ex wife.
They stay with me 50% of the time.
When going through affordability calculators there ends up being about £50k difference in what lenders would class as affordable depending on the answer to "how many dependants will live at the property?"
What is the correct answer you that question when it comes to dependents who are equal split custody and habitants?
They stay with me 50% of the time.

@welly_59 Assuming that there's no maintenance involved and everything's effectively split down the middle, I've had lenders who've said it needs to be 2 and others that are ok to it being considered as 1.
So if it impacts how much you need to borrow then I wouldn't put 1 down unless I've run it past the lender in advance.welly_59 said:I have 2 children, shared custody with the ex wife.
