I repaired a brocken roof tile using Unibond Weather Guard Outdoor and I would like to be able to keep an eye on it with a pair of binoculars from across the road at a distance of almost 20m, so say a  minimum focusing distance of 17m.  Can you please suggest a reasonably priced pair of binoculars with adjustable eye pieces?  I have looked on Amazon and they all seem to have detractors.

You may find that an inexpensive telescope will do the job even better than binoculars and make it easier for you to focus, given you only have to worry about one eye rather than two!
