Check with the scheme's administrators - they will be able to confirm which measure of price inflation is being used.

In addition to the above you need to find out when your scheme applies the rise and which figure is used.

I get a rise every April and my scheme uses the previous January's RPI figure.

Not quite that simple. OP has been posting about this before https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6369872/pension-rise#latest and really does need to go back to the administrators for chapter and verse.
