I dropped my 9 year old Geo monitor and since then the display is too feint to read. Now it’s more important than ever to know when to use electricity so I would like to replace the Geo with another device which will do the trick. Details of set up in my signature and I’ve just had a smart meter fitted if that makes any difference.

you can use a app or smart meter to measure import export and a ct type monitor like shelly can be linked to your phone for generation

I've been looking at Solar Assistant as an upgrade to my PV monitoring system. It looks good.8kW (4kW WNW, 4kW SSE) 6kW inverter. 6.5kWh battery.0

You could use any of these in the picture for what you need.0

I used to have a Geo... great piece of kit. Mine met the same demise as yours.
I was going to replace it with either a Wattson or Owl at the time but never got round to it. I now have an AC coupled battery with a Rasp Pi and Solar assistant, gives me the PV generation data too. Actually gives me more data than I'll ever need, but it's all app based and I do miss the in home display.4 Kwp System, South Facing, 35 Degree Pitch, 16 x 250W Solarworld Panels, SMA Sunnyboy 3600 Inverter, Installed 02/09/14 in Sunny South Bedford - £5600
