I was very active on the forums quite a few years ago. Our debits on credit cards have been at 104k at the highest but now with a lot of hard work they are down to 26k.
The trouble is I've just had enough now. I can't find the motivation to keep clearing it. I'm feeling the urge to spend on the house and get new stuff all the time. But I know this is very self destructive for me. How can I get back on track ?

Just want to say I think that’s amazing to clear that much debt. It must have been a long hard struggle and no wonder you are tired and fed up. I’m sure someone will come along we something more motivating for you but I just thought you deserved a “well done”.0

Hi Paige, welcome back to the boards.
I guess regaining motivation is different for different people and at different times.
You have done extraordinarily well to clear 75K well done.
Some of the things that have helped me have been:
- joining challenges
- checking in every day
- focussing on what I can have, rather than what i want/used to feel compelled to buy.
- reworking my budgets, where can I get efficiencies.
- make an active choice when spending money - what do you really want - sometimes i give myself a good chunk of spending money. Sometimes i really enjoy it, but other times i don't - notice this
- give yourself goals
- what will you do when you are debt free?
- what will you save for?3-month emergency fund (Cash ISA & PBs): £4744/ £6,000
Stocks and shares ISA: £1497
Additional pension contributions £0
Overpayment on mortgage: £0

You have done tremendously well, and I get you are at that stage of being fed up. I can only echo what @DrCarrie has said, stay focussed and check in here everyday whether thats to read others motivational diaries on here (try finally debt free thread) or saving challenges (Sealed Pot Challenge). There is nothing wrong with spending so long as you save up and not add to debt.
How is your budget now that you have paid off such a huge chunk of debt, can you allow yourself a 'just for me' pot or start adding to a house hold items pot?
Keep going you are doing so, so well!

That's an incredible achievement, well done.
Motivation to do anything comes and goes - its notoriously unreliable - so try to find a new focus to give you a fresh outlook. Perhaps there is leeway to start putting something into a spending pot each month? My debt-free diary: Go your own way

I just came across your diary and wanted to say well done, that really is an amazing achievement!
You must have been so dedicated to reduce your debt by so much, so it's no wonder you're finding it to be a slog. I'm only at the start of my own debt-busting journey so I don't have much in the way of helpful advice but wanted to congratulate you on what you have achieved so far and wish you the best of luck with the rest of your journey.0
