Hi. My daughter works for one of the big banks. Since the start of the pandemic she's worked from Home. My question is, can we claim for the gas and electricity she's used working from our Home?

it really depends on the bank's policy, there's no way to know. as far as I know, it's a no, mainly working for banks, but you can always try. what she can do is update her tax code, which gives her an additional yearly ~£300 relief, but that's not a significant amount. the savings are in not having to pay for commute, coffee, lunch, drinks after work etc.1

You can't claim anything. your daughter would have to claim it. either from her employer, or against HMRC.
Via HMRC, anything above the £300 WFH relief has to be receiptable, so she'll need to prove that she paid the additional energy charges herself.
Via the bank, their response is likely to be that the savings on travelling to work far outweigh any increased domestic bills. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
