Using BEV as a house backup battery.

I've heard that Ford in the US have a scheme where you can use your BEV as battery storage for your home. This makes a lot of sense to me as you have a big battery sitting on your drive doing nothing a lot of the time, why not use it?
I don't suppose anything like this is available here yet? Opinions?

I have had it for 3 years with my Nissan Leaf. Unfortunately, my set up does not support 'islanding' so is no use if the mains go off. For that 'vehicle to load' is currently more useful, available on lots of new EVs, I achieve it in a fashion using an inverter connected to the 12v battery that is then recharged by the traction battery.
There is a V2G - H group on Facebook that has what limited info there is for this in the UK.I think....2
