Are they the same as what we used to call blackberry creeps? I grew up with them as we had loads of blackberries in the garden so I expect I've eaten my fair share.PLRFD said:

Local Aldi have (had) decent stock... Well, until I cleaned them out this evening on my home from work
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

49p in Tesco, got some last week https://www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/260169385Dogbyte009 said:Are we seeing a repeat of the great fig roll shortage of 2008?
In the past fortnight I've been in Asda, Sainsbury's and Lidl, none of them have any in stock.
50p Asda https://groceries.asda.com/product/plain-biscuits/asda-fig-rolls/1000000982547
1.40 Sainsburys https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/bolands-fig-roll-200g?
1.60 Waitrose https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/products/mcvities-fig-rolls/018380-8904-8905
2 varieties at Ocado, one here https://www.ocado.com/products/bolands-fig-rolls-200772011
Perhaps biscuits are about to become as unaffordable a treat as cake. Mucho sadness

Man I love fig rolls. And I'm not picky about the brand. I love them with cheese. And I'm not picky about that brand either!

Years ago I got the Jacobs fig rolls then found them a bit "burnt" and dry so stopped, tried Asda ones which were ok but really liked the Sainsburys ones as were tasty and a little moist. Now the Sainsburys ones are dry and a bit "burnt".Are the Aldi or Lidl ones moist or are they like eating a Digestive now too?0
